The answer is YES, you definitely need a professional, in helping you styling the scene.
Choosing the clothes that the models will wear at the photo shoot is equally important like choosing the props and the models themselves.
The big companies even have a separate budget for clothes and for a stylist’s services which is absolutely amazing but.. there is always a “but”?...
Most of our customers are small companies or businesses that are only at the beginning and that’s why we have to adapt.
As a product photographer who provides lifestyle product photography services, I am also offering many clothing options for my models.
I put a big accent on natural materials, on a nude color pallet, on some basic clothing pieces that will look great and will fit any shooting style. Luckily all the models wear the same size???
So with these things said I don’t mind being a stylist as well for some photo shootings ?.
